tired and i felt sian of the wahjong already.. tired to continue playing already.. and i am so looking forward for the next leisure dive and more to come.. and of cos to dive and inspect ships.. wahaha.. excited but scared of not able to perform.. but it will definetely be a great experience before NS..

diving has been quite tiring.. diving to a depth of around 8 metre.. and touching the bottom of the sea already.. and the visibility sucks! what can u expect from singapore waters but what to do.. just want to get the basic open water dive.. and hopefully next month, i can earn enough to join them for overseas dive..

had been working at Marina @ Keppel Bay for this past 4 days and i would say its fun with the people around.. the staffs there be it perm, temp or higher rank stuffs.. it was a nice experience so far..

and we were lucky to have a chance to go on board the "Uniquely Singapore" clipper sponsored by keppel.. and there was this Singaporean.. staff of keppel i assume.. whom have took part in the previous race.. and he brought us around the clipper and explaining the different parts of the clipper and his experience on board and to share with us how they live and past time..

and other than that.. we were basically cleaning rubbish around the marina area to maintain a clean and neat look of that place.. those reachable one will be done my net and rubbish bin.. and those un-reachable will be done through the rubber dinkie.. which i got to drove it yesterday and today to clear the rubbish at our basin and to assist in the bowling of the clippers..

and other than going onboard clipper and clearing rubbish.. we helped out in buggy services if needed.. and also to help boss buy cigarettes using his picanto.. and to photocopy some stuffs.. hmm.. a job which i can enjoy and feel comfortable with.. with adequate rest time..

and this 4 days.. i've attended diving theory and pool lesson which was pretty fun and interesting.. and of course.. tired... haha.. and looking forward to pass my diving this weekend.. and overseas trip which might come provided i got the money..

felt really lucky and grateful for the things i have around me and those i don't..

well done to my cousin for getting A1s for both his maths.. which was partly tutor by me.. haha.. (((;' and cheer up Miss Santarina.. don't be disappointed with your results..

Vespa Club Overseas trip to Penggarang, Malaysia..

met Javier and Mer in the morning for breakfast at jurong area.. before heading down to birdpark to meet the rest and headed to Msia via 2nd link.. excited.. first time going for long distance trip and also first time entering by 2nd link..

so after a distance.. we reached the area to meet up with the rest and had breakfast and some drinks..

so we set off for our long ride to Penggrang via Kota Tinggi... and it was seriously very long and tiring.. and sleepy.. and we stopped by half way to rest and take a break..







and after a few hours of riding.. we finally reached.. and had our meal there..

and of course.. cant miss the thing around us..


so we headed back afterwards and it was super jam at the first link.. so squeezed through and headed home to attend to some things..

the trip has been a great exposure to me.. riding such long distances and being alert at all times looking out for cars when they overtake us in the narrow single lane.. and to keep a lookout for each other.. hmm.. there was twice where i wasnt very alert and kena the holes.. which make hurt my bike somehow or the other.. and when riding halfway.. the wire from the sparkplug came off and result in my bike stopping the electricity.. so luckily.. xiaoming was there to help.. to tell me the prob and we solved it in a short time.. very lucky and grateful.. and halfway in JB when heading back.. my back number plate flew off.. sway.. but means i can have a nice one! wheee..

then later part of the day.. when in spore.. went to find jiahui jenn and xy at chinatown at 8plus at night.. to celebrate jh's birthday! in a shophouse at chinatown.. jh so old already! hahaha..

Today was the official launch of Marina @ Keppel Bay.. and we reported for work at 6.45am which was damn early.. woke up at 5plus.. and went to fetch wc..

first job of the day was to take the net and help clear rubbish around the marina area so that the area looks clean and neat.. and we were re-brief about our jobscope when the clipper arrive later on.. so we assisted in whatever we can and continued area cleaning til the guests arrived..

the security was super tight with police and CID around.. and we were asked to evacuate the whole venue before re-entering with our body checked.. and indeed.. very nice location with SM Goh opening the marina and also with the clippers from "round the world yatch race" arriving.. and it was a super magnificent sight.. with 3 clippers coming at a time.. and i showed them where to berth and help in the tightening of bow line.. and the berthing was super beautiful.. which i dunno how to desribe in here.. lol.. and they were welcomed by loud applauses and waves from people here..

and our job afterwards was to control the crowd and help whatever we can looking after the marina.. and basically.. overall.. cleaning rubbish.. assist in berthing.. tts all.. might be shit-work but so far.. it was fun to me working at the marina seeing so many yatch and meeting nice people.. be it colleagues or the yatch people..

however.. they no not require so many people which means some of my other classmates will not be able to work.. and we are rotated by shifts of 3.. but job was fun and i expect myself to be in the small rubber dingy assisting in collecting the rubbish.. and maybe also the small car to drive people or cargoes around.. wheeeeee!

its always passion and interest over everything..

ICAs have finally finish after one week of hardwork and struggle.. and this will be the end of our 3 years life in SP.. as a maritime student.. and as classmates.. and will surely miss a lot a lot of people..

went to harbourfront for lunch in the afternoon before heading to marina @ keppel bay which is quite a distance from harbourfront.. and had our job briefing.. and was still hesistating whether to work but the job scope seems interesting to me and it will be a super wonderful experience.. so decided to agree and take on the job.. with 10 of my other classmates.. and hope we will have a wonderful time there..

it's the opening ceremony of Marina @ Keppel Bay, Singapore's newest Marina and with this opening.. the around the world yatch race will have a stop over here in spore.. and there will be 10 clippers coming with the 10th clipper being the Singapore one.. with the 'uniquely Singapore' and SM Goh will be there to receive the ship.. and i will also be there with him in this prestigious event to receive the clipper.. and of course.. to secure the ropes to the shore.. that's my jobscope.. haha.. where only 2 person is involved.. me and weicheng.. hmm.. had some training just now and the people there are pretty fun to work with and the environment interests me.. something i quite like.. and looking forward...

very long working hours for tml.. paywise.. quite acceptable.. but most important.. i am expecting lots of fun and enriching experience.. to learn more things and to be part of a big event.. representing Singapore at the Marina.. to showcase what we are like to people around the world who will be coming to see..

i seriously felt very lucky to be able to find jobs after jobs.. with acceptable pay and nice working environment.. and looking fwd to the next one after this.. which i hope will be smoothly done..

this year has started on a very positive tone but it has not continued the way it started.. but its fair that there is a balance.. a 'thumbs down' on that part of life.. but on the other part of life.. its a 'thumbs up' which i am truly grateful.. what more can i ask for?

Stock market hasnt be on a postive tone lately.. with stocks falling really bad.. those popular trades like SGX, UOB has been in very low level and i think they will continue to fall.. and the cycle will continue and they will rise again.. this is how money goes round..

had been thinking to be part of Chingay with my vespa when i saw the previous years photos.. and i think we are going to be part of it.. hope to hear good news from VCS.. wahahaha..

i am just trying not to let things affect and spoil my happiness..

everyone has been saying.. "oh.. time passes so fast" and indeed.. revision week now and nx week is exams.. and we are out of SP already.. no more studying for us and no more everyday going for lesson and lunch together..

many misses to many people as i will not get to see a lot of pple.. those usual people i see in school but i don't go out with.. so after nx week.. guess we won't be seeing each other already.. how sad can it be.. but life ought to move on.. and i have yet to ring up and ask about holiday jobs before my NS..

Sunday was well spent with DB in the morning which make me very tired.. after so many weeks of slacking.. finally get my lazy bum off the bed and went for trng in the morning.. then rushed back home and headed to JB to meet fern, javier and james and headed to holiday plaza.. for vege lunch and had our nails done.. and my hair washed.. and back to spore with our petrol tank fully topped up..

went for Kelvin's concert at the Victoria Concert Hall.. well played songs by the band and nice solo performance by Kelvin.. guess his heart must be thumping real loud because everyone was not playing except for his tuba sound.. not an easy task..

was at labrador park for the 2008 countdown with VCS pple and saw quite a no. of pple there too.. but the view wasnt very good to catch the fireworks.. only manage to see a bit only.. but a good environment to chill and to have a romantic stroll to enjoy the sea breeze and the night scenery.. went for beancurd and prata before heading home at reached home at 3in the morning.. super tired.. but worth it.. Year 2007 has been another yr of different expriences.. with many highlights.. and some which left a deep impression on..
the Aceh trip which really gave me a total different experience there.. and the 2 weeks was fun and very different.. which really make me appreciate things a lil more in Singapore.. and to cherish people we have around us.. and of course to spread the love there..
Grandma pass away has also make me realise how vulnerable and how lovely family is.. and how bonded we are now.. and the more to come..
Vespa has also been a great change in my life.. riding a scoot from place to place and joining Vespa Club and learning many new things everytime and going many places together.. and going JB for cheap petrol.. lol..
School has also been a fantastic yr where the whole class work hard at the end of the yr and also chionging the final yr project.. and cherishing the last yr in poly..
KL trip which was very fun and memorable for me.. which i hope time will just stop there.. ((;'
Marathons i ran.. which was a start of my running passion.. from very short marathon to a full marathon which was badly completed..
Birthday celebration at aunty's place as it has been very long since i celebrated like this already and enjoyed myself a lot with the presence of everyone..
Hair for Hope.. when i shaved bald for Cancer society.. which has make me feel that hair is not tt impt afterall.. and not styling hair for a period of time is shiok.. lol..
and the many friends who walked in and out of my life.. and the one who stayed on throughout.. and being there for me.. which i appreciate it truly.. and hope it will last..
and lastly the things i have been thru.. like camps.. kusu work.. end of attachment.. cruise.. fireworks.. it was remembered and posted in the blog..

and for 2008! it has started off pretty good for the first day.. and 3 more weeks will be the end of poly life.. and need to prepare to go army already.. hope to have an enjoyable and adventurous experience over there in army and of course.. to build myself up and to make more friends.. ((;' an exciting year looking forward to.. with not much expectations.. but excitement..
